During the fourth short-term exchange of groups of pupils that was organised by the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) between the 17th and 21st of February 2020, each team of pupils performed a traditional or folk song from their country that enchanted the audience and allowed the participants to become acquainted with the musical heritage from all the partner countries.

THE ROMANIAN TEAM

The region of Bukovina is a piece of heaven, an enchanted world hidden deep in hearth of the Carpathian Mountains. Among the many songs dedicated to its beautiful landscapes and hardworking people, the talented Denisa Alexandra Ștefănucă, member of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania), chose to perform the folk song “Bucovină, mândră floare”. THE PORTUGUESE TEAM

The traditional song performed by the members the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) can be watched below.

THE TURKISH TEAM

The members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) performed the Çanakkale folk song. Below you can watch both their performance and the video used as support.
