In May 2020, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) carried out research on the topic of food in Latvian fairy tales. There are a lot of mentions of food in Latvian folklore, and mostly, the reason of that is how food is important for a human being.
