In December 2019, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) took part in a contest and created poems in Italian on the topic “My Sky”. After the winning poem was chosen based on the votes of the pupils, it was translated into English during the second meeting of the club.

IF I WAS A DRONE
If I was a drone, I would go to visit many places, where now I couldn’t go, go around the world, without never getting tired.
It would be fun to be able to fly near the birds and at night near the bats, and maybe it could be changed for one of them.
I’d like to be a drone for the freedom sense, without feeling to be worry about hanger, thirsty, hot and cold.
If I was a drone I would also give help to people in difficulty that I would notice from above.
I would go to heaven to great my grandmother and my uncle who are gone.
I could go around other people’s homes and give a look to their lives.
I could fly near the planes and say hello to the people inside, in short, the drone life would be a lot fun!
