During the second short-term exchange of groups of pupils that took place at the partner school Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) between May 13th and 17th, 2019, the participating pupils also presented PowerPoint materials about national folklore, especially about traditions, customs and rituals.

Romania is a land rich in symbols and myths, where legends and traditions are still an important part of people’s lives. The presentation on the topic of folklore created by the members of the club “Art heritage” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) illustrates the beauty, vivacity, and also the deep meaning of folk customs and rituals associated with orthodox baptism, New Year’s Eve/Day, Easter and Whitsunday.
