Music festivals play a crucial role in both the preservation and the promotion of folk and musical heritage. During these events, tangible and intangible heritage entangle, as they usually bring to the public’s attention not only the music and customs, but also the costumes, crafts and food associated with them. The members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) created a PowerPoint presentation about five events promoting Romanian musical heritage, including details about “The Golden Stag” International Contest Festival, the “George Enescu” International Festival and Competition, the Intercultural Maramureș Tradition Festival “The Long Road to the Merry Cemetery”, the Maidens’ Fair from Mount Găina and the International Folk Festival “Zamfira’s Wedding”.
