Apart from their regular activities carried out in April 2019, the members of the clubs “Art heritage” from all the partner schools prepared intensely for the second exchange of groups of pupils scheduled to take place in Akhisar (Turkey) in May 2019. During the physical mobility, the participating pupils will have to present materials about traditional cuisine and also to take part in a cooking workshop. In order to prepare for these activities, the members of the clubs “Art heritage” researched the topic of national cuisine and tried out their culinary skills by cooking traditional dishes from their countries.

Below you can see the pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) cooking tagliatelle (a traditional pasta made with flour and eggs) and ciambelline (traditional donuts made with wine), and also preparing healthy traditional snacks.

The pupils from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) cooked no less than three traditional Romanian dishes, namely stuffed cabbage rolls, sour soup from Rădăuți and cheese dumplings, which they all savoured afterwards. They also prepared a video recipe for stuffed cabbage rolls, which will be included in their PowerPoint material about traditional cuisine to be presented in Turkey.

The pupils from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) also practised their culinary skills and cooked traditional Turkish delicacies in April 2019.

Below you can see the members of the club “Art heritage” from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) cooking a typical Portuguese dish.
