In February 2020, the pupils involved in the “Hand to Hand – Together in Europe” project from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) recorded messages expressing their love, friendship and gratitude for the pupils and teachers from the partner countries who hosted them during the exchange visits organised within the project.

The idea for this nice gesture came from the fact that, on February 24th, Romanians celebrate Dragobete Day. Considered a local equivalent to St. Valentine’s Day, this ancient holiday with pagan roots is a celebration of love, fertility and the revival of nature.
