The members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) invite us to celebrate love the Romanian way on Dragobete Day! The video they have created includes information about the significance of and the traditions associated with this ancient Romanian holiday dedicated to love, a local equivalent to St. Valentine’s day, celebrated on February 24th, as well as their dance to the song “Când eu iubesc” (“When I’m in love”) by the Moldovan singer Lia Taburcean.
In February 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) performed the traditional folk dance called “Zeybek”. Below you can see the video recorded during their meeting.
