In October 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic “Local Music Samples of the Aegean Region”. After being informed about the topic, the pupils watched local dance samples and played local music samples of the Aegean region.
The pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) carried out research and then organised a workshop on the topic of the overture of the opera “Guglielmo Tell” by the famous Italian composer Gioachino Rossini.
In October 2019, the girls from the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) chose to celebrate the beauty of the autumn by reciting their poems “Autumn emotion” by Nichita Stănescu and “Why do you wail, o forest trees” by Mihai Eminescu which were then used for a video product.
In October 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) prepared for the exchange visit to Latvia by rehearsing and creating videos. They also organised a demonstration for the entire school, their activities resulting in enriching pupils’ knowledge about folk and song heritage.
The members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) had their regular bimonthly meetings and also organised a demonstration for the entire school.
