In November 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” within the project “Hand to Hand – Together in Europe” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) promoted the values of tolerance, mutual respect and non-violence by teaching their younger schoolmates from Școala Primară nr. 2 to use their energy by dancing and not through acts of violence. The songs they used to show them the joy of music and dance were “Acasă-i România”, sung by Laura Olteanu, “Vino, vântule călduț”, sung by Roxana Lupu-Moroșanu and “Macarena”, sung by Los del Río.
In November 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic “Local Dances”. The pupils were taught new specific steps and moves and then they performed local dances.
