In November 2019, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic “The Fairy Tale Heroes”. After being informed about the values of literary heritage, the pupils carried out a survey by asking their schoolmates and a few teachers the question “If you were a fairy tale hero, what qualities would you want?”. The results were then evaluated by students from the club and the survey was concluded.
The members of the club from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) were involved in the preparation and organisation of third short-term exchange of groups of pupils that was hosted by the Italian school between November 25th and 29th.
The members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) prepared for the month of December, which is a special period filled with emotions and symbols. In order to make the magic of winter holidays come alive, they created a board with the most popular winter legends and stories, namely “The Legend of Saint Nicholas”, “The Legend of Santa Claus”, “The Reindeer of Santa Claus”, “The Legend of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”, “The Legend of the Snow”, “The Legend of the Snowflake”, “The Legend of the Mistletoe” and “The Story of the Christmas Tree”.
In November 2019, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) had their bimonthly meetings and prepared texts and a PowerPoint presentation. Their work resulted in enriching pupils’ knowledge about literary heritage.
The pupils from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) also their regular bimonthly meetings, having as objectives researching the assigned topic, carrying out interactive and practical activities and fostering peer learning.
