In May 2019, the members of the club “Nature wonders” from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) carried out research activities and created a PowerPoint presentation about the Conero area. The pupils from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) also created a PowerPoint presentation.
The members of the club “Nature wonders” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) were involved in organising the second exchange visit of the project hosted by their school by examining natural heritage sites from their region and from Turkey.
The members of the club from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) became interested in the Scout Movement that aims to support young people in their physical, mental and spiritual development, and which employs a programme of informal education with an emphasis on practical outdoor activities. They did research on this interesting topic and created a very informative flyer about Scouting principles, rules and age groups that was then distributed in our school.
In May 2019, the members of the club “Nature wonders” from Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) visited the zoo in order to learn more about animals. They also visited Cosmos Ilūziju Muzejs from Riga, which is a unique museum full of interactive, unpredictable and attractive exhibitions that draw visitors into thrilling and fascinating world of illusions, but also give them the possibility to learn something new and feel new experiences.
Back at school, the Latvian pupils took part in various science workshops and worked on the topic of climate change.
