During the first two weeks of May 2019, the members of the clubs “Art heritage” from all the partner schools made their final preparations for the second short-term exchange of groups of pupils that will be hosted by the partner school from Akhisar (Turkey) between May 13th and 17th, 2019.
The pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) put the finishing touches on their materials about traditions, folklore and ancestral rituals and practised presenting them.
In May 2019, the pupils from Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) rehearsed their ancient dance and also visited Modes muzejs from Riga, a fashion museum which showcases clothing styles over the centuries.
The pupils from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) also rehearsed their presentations and the sketch about traditional Romanian wedding rituals.
The members of the club “Art heritage” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) were of course the busiest, as they also helped organise the exchange visit. They prepared an exhibition showcasing the best objects created by them within the club in order to introduce their work to the partner schools.
The pupils from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) prepared their presentations for the exchange visit to Turkey, and also continued their work on drawings, painting and models. They replicated some art masterpieces, tried free painting, used recycled materials for art works and created models of the iconic cable cars from Lisbon.
