In March 2019, the clubs “Art heritage” from all the partner schools worked on the topic “Spring seen through the eyes of children” by creating products associated with spring rituals, and thus fostering artistic talent and creativity among the pupils.
The members of the club from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) made two batches of mărțișoare (small ornaments worn in Romania as symbols of spring), using ribbon flowers for one set and sewn folk motifs for the other. They also created handmade cards for their mothers on the occasion of International Women’s Day and a colourful collage on the topic “Spring seen through the eyes of children” using playdough. The pupils were helped with their more difficult tasks by the very talented girls from vocational school.
In March 2019, the club “Art heritage” from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) created object associated with spring rituals, such as spring hats, Easter eggs and other objects.
The pupils from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) were first informed about the topic “Spring seen through the eyes of children” and, after discussing the topic, they decided to crochet flowers. The pupils learned to use the crochet hook and they made flowers. Then they glued magnets to the flowers which can thus be used as decorations for the fridge.
