In June 2019, the clubs “The magical world of fairy tales” from all the partner schools worked on the topic “The world of childhood” and organised activities honouring International Children’s Day.
The pupils from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) were first informed about the topic and then carried out research on the world of childhood. They also participated in the UNICEF’s campaign to support children’s rights by signing the petition available at this link: http://unicef.org.tr/dunyacocukgunu/
The members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) marked International Children’s Day by welcoming us all aboard a train made of the titles of their favourite children’s books and wise quotes from famous writers. On June 15th, they also took part in the twelfth edition of the Literary Festival “Mihai Eminescu” organised by the mayor and the Local Council of Dumbrăveni, and helped to pin badges in honour of our greatest poet who passed away 130 years ago.
