In January 2020, the members of the club “Nature wonders” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic of “Snow-themed picture pasting”. They created their snow-themed paintings using Styrofoam and black cardboard.
The pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) prepared and conducted an experiment measuring the pH of a substance using red cabbage juice. During their second meeting, they created a video about the materials and the procedure used during the experiment and added English subtitles.
In January 2020, the members of the club “Nature wonders” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) had their bimonthly meetings on the topic “Ocean and Sea protection”, creating a PowerPoint presentation and writing a report.
The members of the club “Nature wonders” from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) continued their work on the topic “Lab Bus”. Their activities resulted in research on the assigned topic, interactive and practical activities and peer learning.
The good signs of the new year continued with the activity of the club “Nature wonders” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania). The “naturalists” created a beautiful calendar of nature for 2020 and distributed it to pupils and teachers from our school, a perfect opportunity to talk about the protection of the environment and to disseminate our project.
