In January 2020, the members of the “Art heritage” clubs from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) and from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) had their weekly meetings, which resulted in enriching pupils’ knowledge about art heritage.
In January 2020, the members of the club “Art heritage” from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) created masks, confetti and costumes in preparation for the exchange visit scheduled to take place at the partner school from Riga (Latvia) in February 2020.
The pupils from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) found out more about the handicraft of knitting and decided to knit scarves and booties, as they are appropriate items for winter wear.
For good luck during the whole year, the members of the club “Art heritage” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) started 2020 with the traditional Sorcova chant, an ancestral ritual performed by children on the morning of January 1st. They created handmade “sorcove”, the decorated sticks carried by the children on this occasion, as well as a video product with details about this endearing New Year custom.
