In January 2019, the members of the club “Art heritage” from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) organised an exhibition with the greeting cards received from the partner schools, created handmade key-rings, drawings about Saint Anthony (works linked to the PowerPoint presentation about cultural and tourist events for the exchange visit to Portugal) and the myth of Hephaestus (works linked to the PowerPoint presentation about the wonders of South Italy for the exchange visit to Portugal), as well as works about folklore, namely about Befana and Carnival.
The members of the club “Art heritage” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) received information about the topic of water marbling (Türk Ebru Sanatı) and during their second meeting they tried this ancient technique used to decorate book covers during the Ottoman Empire.
For the members of the club “Art heritage” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania), January 2019 meant a celebration of an ancient craft which turned into an art form: traditional Romanian pottery. They had the opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills and talent in this area by wrapping pots in twine, and by creating two collages and a PowerPoint presentation about pottery.
