In February 2020, the activity of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) was dedicated to the topic of “Important personalities of our history”. The pupils carried out research on important personalities belonging to Turkish history and used their findings to prepare a PowerPoint material about this topic, which was then presented to the other students.
The pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) chose as their monthly topic the history of chocolate. During their first meeting, they carried out research on the history of chocolate and of “Gianduiotti” chocolates. During the second meeting of the club, the students used their research to create a PowerPoint presentation.
In February 2020, the members of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) worked on the topic of the unification of the Romanian principalities from 1859, known as “the Small Union”. The pupils carried out research and created collages about the process of unification, considered to be the first step in the foundation of the modern state of Romania, and about the elected ruler of the principalities, Alexandru Ioan Cuza.
In February 2020, the members of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) had their bimonthly meetings. Their activities resulted in research on the assigned topic, interactive and practical activities and peer learning.
The pupils from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) contributed to the preparation for and organisation of the short-term exchange of groups of pupils hosted by their school.
