In April 2019, the members of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) worked on the topic of totalitarian regimes. They took part in a debate, created collages about Nazism, fascism and communism, as well as resource sheets and a PowerPoint presentation about European dictators.
The pupils from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) went on a trip to the city of Manisa and received extensive information about the topic of local historical heritage. During their second meeting, they researched the topic and created posters that were displayed in school, as well as a PowerPoint presentation.
The members of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) worked on the topic “Roots: short history of my hometown”. They visited the historical center of Riga which is called Vecrīga (Old Riga) and is famous for its old churches and cathedrals.
In April 2019, the pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina from Palestrina (Italy) started their research on the topics that will be presented during the third exchange visit scheduled to take place in Italy in November 2019.
The members of the club “The whisper of the past builds up the future” from Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) continued their activities on the topic “Roots: short history of my hometown”, and they created 20 posters and models and a PowerPoint presentation, having as purpose enriching pupils’ knowledge about historical heritage.
