Presentations from the online exchange visit hosted by Romania – Hand to Hand

All the informative materials presented during the fifth short-term exchange of groups of pupils (C6), that was organised online by the coordinating school Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni from Dumbrăveni (Romania) between the 6th and 10th of October 2020, are part of the collection “Beyond the borders”, which includes the pupils’ presentations from the five exchange visits of the project.

Transnational activity called “Invitation to read” – Each national team prepared beforehand and presented during the exchange visit either a photo-voice exhibition on the topic of “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which included significant quotes from the book, illustrative drawings made by children and a short presentation of the book, or a virtual tour through the library of the school, highlighting valuable books of well-known national authors.

Transnational activity called “United in Diversity: Fairy Tales across Europe” – On the second day of the exchange visit, after a presentation of the Padlet platform, a transnational team of pupils was formed and received as task to create a Padlet board on the topic of fairy tales. On the last day of the online mobility, the transnational team presented the board they had created, on which they uploaded information, photos and links on the topic of well-known fairy tales from the partner countries and their common characteristics, thus highlighting the similarities among them.

Transnational activity called “Poetry Recital” – On the first day of the exchange visit, after watching a presentation of Windows Movie Maker video editing software program, the participating pupils were divided into six transnational teams. They received as task to create videos with poems recited in the four native languages of the project, previously selected by each national team. The pupils got in touch and communicated via social media, made and shared recordings and other materials, and finally each team created a video that was presented during the last day of the online exchange visit.
