In December 2019, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) turned into Santa’s helpers and organised a charitable campaign involving numerous pupils, teachers and parents who donated money, food, clothes and toys. On December 20th, on the occasion of International Human Solidarity Day, they offered the goods they had received or bought to needy families and to elderly people from Dumbrăveni.
The pupils from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) took part in a contest and created poems in Italian on the topic “My Sky”. After the winning poem was chosen based on the votes of the pupils, it was translated into English during the second meeting of the club.
The members of the club from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic “Designing rag dolls with Manisa-specific outfits”. During their second meeting, cloth dolls with Manisa-specific clothing were designed to enrich students’ knowledge about cultural heritage.
In December 2019, the members of the club “The magical world of fairy tales” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) had their bimonthly meetings, their work resulting in enriching pupils’ knowledge about literary heritage.
