Inspired by the International Day for Tolerance, celebrated on November 16th, and wishing to promote mutual respect and non-violence, the girls from the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Liceul Tehnologic “Mihai Eminescu” Dumbrăveni (Romania) showed their younger schoolmates the joy of music and dance, and taught them to use their energy by dancing and not through acts of violence.
The members of the club from Istituto Comprensivo “Giovanni Pierluigi” Palestrina (Italy) were involved in the preparation and organisation of third short-term exchange of groups of pupils that was hosted by the Italian school between November 25th and 29th.
In November 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from Şehit Ali Aksoy Ortaokulu from Akhisar (Turkey) worked on the topic “Local Dances”. After being informed about the topic, the pupils were taught new specific steps and moves and then they performed local dances.
In November 2019, the members of the club “It’s us! – songs and dances” from the partner school Agrupamento de Escolas de Samora Correia from Samora Correia (Portugal) organised rehearsals during their bimonthly meetings. Their activities had as result enriching pupils’ knowledge about folk and song heritage.
The pupils from the partner school Rīgas 22. vidusskola from Rīga (Latvia) also their regular bimonthly meetings, their work having as aim enriching pupils’ knowledge about folk and song heritage.
